Water System Improvements to serve U.S. Hwy 41 (Division I) & Liberty Road (Division II)

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements to serve U.S. Hwy 41 (Division I) & Liberty Road (Division II) will be received, by Pike County Water & Sewerage, located at 70 Gwynn Street, Zebulon, GA 30295, until 3:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2026, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Water System Improvements to serve U.S. Hwy 41 (Division I) & Liberty Road (Division II) as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of 3,120 L.F. of 8" Watermain and 175 L.F. 2" Watermain and all associated measures for the complete project. Time allotted for completion of work is 120 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 134 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. Copies of Bidding Documents for bidding purposes can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C., 1606 Whiddon Mill Road, Tifton, Georgia 31793, Phone: (229) 388-8823, (Office of the Engineer) upon payment of $300.00 for each set (non-refundable). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Pike County Water & Sewerage Authority, located at 70 Gwynn Street, Zebulon, GA 30295 or at Watkins & Associates, LLC on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Upon request and receipt of the document payment indicated above, Watkins & Associates, LLC will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted will be considered the prospective Bidder¿s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
