WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed Bids for the Water System Improvements project will be received by the Irwin County Board of Commissioners at 225 East 4th Street, Ocilla, GA 31774 until 2:00 P.M. on May 30, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after closing, except as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.
Project scope includes: Chemical Feed Building Rehabilitation, Standby Generator Installation, Pump Modifications, and Hydropneumatic Tank Rehabilitation.Bids are for a single prime Contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternates as indicated in the Bid Form.

Bidding Documents are available electronically (PDF) for a non-refundable $250, or as printed copies for an additional $100.Documents will be sent via email or other file transfer upon receipt of payment.Partial sets are not available. Only bidders who purchase complete sets from the Issuing Office will be accepted.
Bid security must be provided per the Instructions to Bidders.The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the Contract amount, by a U.S. Treasury-listed surety licensed in Georgia.
All construction permits are expected before bid opening.No property acquisition is anticipated.This project may be funded in whole or part by the Governor¿s Office of Planning and Budget via the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Program, and must comply with Federal Requirements, including 2 CFR Part 200, Appendix II.The Irwin County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award in the best interest of the County.
