DESCRIPTION:  Bids are being solicited for: 1) the excavation and transportation of contaminated soil qualifying as hazardous waste; 2) excavation, transportation, and disposal of contaminated soil qualifying as non-hazardous waste; 3) limited imported backfill and compaction to establish FINAL GRADE; and (4) site restoration activities at a  1.91-acre  portion  of  Water  Street  Redevelopment  Area  (WSRA)  located  at  4  Water  Street  in  Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, Michigan 48198.

This  solicitation,  along  with  all  Attachments  may  be  downloaded  from  the  MITN  website  at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn . Any and all addenda issued by the OWNER must be viewed or downloaded from the above listed website. Award results shall also be posted on the MITN website.

One (1) unbound, paper copy must be submitted to the City Clerk and one electronic copy must be submitted to the MITN website by the due date and time. Allow time for the uploading process. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened shortly after the Bid Deadline at the location listed above.

If a contract is awarded, the RESPONSIBLE BIDDER that is selected (CONTRACTOR) will be required to adhere to all  components  of  the  Invitation  to  Bid  (ITB),  including  the  Instruction  to  Bidders,  Agreement  Terms  and Conditions, Required Forms and Technical Specifications, which will constitute the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. The following provisions are general principles which apply to all contractors/service providers to the City of Ypsilanti and are not subject to negotiation.
