Solicitation Summary

The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission (MetCom) is soliciting quotes for all labor, materials, equipment, profit and overhead, and means and methods to perform exterior high pressure water cleaning (3,000 – 4,000 PSI) on three (3) water storage towers.

Additional Instructions

RFQ Due Date/Time: August 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Terms: The contractor(s) awarded will have 30 days from the date of notice to proceed to complete each water storage towers pressure washing that has been awarded to them. All scheduling and coordination must be made directly with the Contracting Officer’s Representative and Commission’s Water Treatment & Distribution Superintendent. Quotes shall not cumulatively exceed $49,999.00 .

Pre-Bid Conference Details

A pre-quote conference will be held on August 11, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST at the MetCom Administrative Office, located at 23121 Camden Way, California, Maryland 20619, to review this RFQ and scopes of work. Site visits for all locations listed in this RFQ will follow immediately after the conclusion of the pre-quote conference. Although attendance is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged as this will be the only opportunity for contractors to physically view and inspect the locations outlined in this RFQ. No current photographs of any of the towers will be made available as the sites and conditions are subject to change.
