INTENT

It is the intent of these plans and specifications to provide for a contractor who shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform in a professional manner for the Water Station No. 26 Electrical and Controls Upgrades project as described in the specifications and bid document.

Removal, installation and commissioning of electrical instrumentation and controls for Water Station No. 26 in accordance with the project plans and specifications. Programming will be performed by Tetra Tech under separate contract with the City. Contractor shall assist Tetra Tech as necessary.

SCOPE OF WORK

This contract includes: All work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications for the installation of electrical controls and instrumentation at Water Station No. 26 which is located at Markin Glen Park, 5271 N Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49004.

See specifications section 0110 “Summary of Work”.

The bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment and other means necessary or proper for performing and completing the work. The bidder shall be responsible for the cleaning up of the job site and shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the work to the satisfaction of the Public Services Department for the City of Kalamazoo.

Work shall begin within 10-days of Notice to Proceed. Work shall be complete by May 1, 2026.
