Background

The City of Brentwood, Water Services Department (WSD), in the normal operation and maintenance of the water and sewer systems, must make patch repairs to roadways, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, and other associated items. These repairs are required to be made following water and sewer system maintenance activities that occur regularly. Additionally, paving and related work may include new or replacement pavement or driveway additions at various Water Department facility sites such as pumping stations or water tanks, or at its Operation's campus when directed. Task orders for any work are issued by the WSD to the contractor on an as needed basis. At regular intervals, the City will deliver a list of necessary repairs to the contractor. The contractor will then need to respond in a timely manner to make pavement or driveway and related repairs for the operation's related repair work, but no more than 10 working days to complete the assigned work, weather permitting. All work shall conform to TDOT roadway standards and specifications and/or City of Brentwood roadway standards and specifications.
