Sealed bids will be received for Water Services - Annual Contract for Roadway & Driveway Repairs by the City of Brentwood through the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement , until 2:00 pm , local time, on Friday, August 29, 2025 , at which time said bids will be publicly opened. Copies of the Request for Bids document may be obtained from Drew Muirhead , Assistant Director , City of Brentwood, 5211 Maryland Way, Brentwood, TN 37024-0788, drew.muirhead@brentwoodtn.gov (615) 371-0080 or online at OpenGov Procurement . Electronic submission is the preferred method. The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid, and to accept any bid, which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the City.
The City of Brentwood, Water Services Department (WSD), in the normal operation and maintenance of the water and sewer systems, must make patch repairs to roadways, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, and other associated items. These repairs are required to be made following water and sewer system maintenance activities that occur regularly. Additionally, paving and related work may include new or replacement pavement or driveway additions at various Water Department facility sites such as pumping stations or water tanks, or at its Operation's campus when directed. Task orders for any work are issued by the WSD to the contractor on an as needed basis. At regular intervals, the City will deliver a list of necessary repairs to the contractor. The contractor will then need to respond in a timely manner to make pavement or driveway and related repairs for the operation's related repair work, but no more than 10 working days to complete the assigned work, weather permitting. All work shall conform to TDOT roadway standards and specifications and/or City of Brentwood roadway standards and specifications. The agreement term shall be for one year and may be extended for up to two, additional one year periods by mutual agreement of the City and the contractor.
