Water Reclamation Facility Aeration Basin Upgrade

Project Description: Springville City, solicits interested and qualified firms to submit proposals for furnishing and delivery of equipment for the Springville WRF – Aeration Basin
Upgrade Diffusers. Furnish all equipment, transportation, tools, supplies, onsite services, collaboration with the installation contractor, and appurtenances for satisfactory completion of all
work.
The Springville City WRF is located at 700 North 500 West in Springville City, Utah 84663. The plant is owned and operated by Springville City. The plant receives and treats domestic,
commercial, and industrial wastewater generated within the City’s collection system.
The plant produces secondary disinfected water that is discharged into a stream that runs adjacent to the WRF site. The existing WRF includes influent screening, grit removal,
trickling filters, STM Aerator basins, secondary clarification, tertiary filtration, UV disinfection, and related solids handling/digestion facilities.
This equipment procurement is part of a design to retrofit existing STM aeration basins with new fine bubble diffusers to upgrade the exiting secondary biological treatment process. The
project will include new blowers that will be procured separately to provide the air as required by the selected diffuser supplier. Diffuser equipment will be installed in existing basins
(drawing of the existing structures are included as an attachment to this RFP) with new mechanical air piping and instrumentation installed as coordinated with the selected diffuser
supplier.
The intent of this proposal is to obtain competitive pricing from qualified vendors for furnishing and delivery of the following pieces of equipment to meet specifications herein:
