Expecting to Advertise December 15, 2025, and Construction is currently scheduled to begin in mid-2026.

It will be procured by Invitation for Bid method.

The estimated construction cost is $1.9 million.

Site 1 - Nottingham Dr and Tophill Rd from Bartell Dr to Greenwich Blvd.

About the Project

This package has four site locations. Project site one will install approximately 881 feet of 8-inch HDPE water mains by pipebursting, and 10 feet by open trench construction methods. Project site one includes an alley between Nottingham Dr and Tophill Rd from Bartell Dr to Greenwich Blvd. Water Main Replacement Project 5, which was approved in 2025, is part of ongoing efforts to replace deteriorating water mains that have a history of failures.

Site 2 - Northridge Dr and Larkwood Dr from Crandall Pl to Kenilworth Blvd.

This package has four site locations. Project site three will install approximately 997 feet of 8-inch HDPE water mains by open trench construction methods. Project site three includes Shadylane from E Terra Alta to Forest Glen. Water Main Replacement Project 5, which was approved in 2025, is part of ongoing efforts to replace deteriorating water mains that have a history of failures.

Site 4 - Larchmont Dr and Irvington Dr from Greenwich Blvd to Kenilworth Blvd

About the Project

This package has four site locations. Project site three will install approximately 951 feet of 8-inch HDPE water mains by pipebursting methods. Project site four includes an alley between Larchmont Dr and Irvington Dr from Greenwich Blvd to Kenilworth Blvd. Water Main Replacement Project 5, which was approved in 2025, is part of ongoing efforts to replace deteriorating water mains that have a history of failures.

When Will Work Occur?
Construction is scheduled to begin in the 1st quarter of 2026 with different starting and ending dates per segment
that will be updated as construction proceeds. The total construction duration for the entire “2025 Water Main
Replacement Project 5” package is approximately 10 months with an estimated total construction cost of $1.9
million.
What to Expect – Project Site One
• Open cut installation of approximately 10 linear feet of 8-inch diameter HDPE water main up to depths of
approximately 5 to 10 ft.
• Trenchless installation of approximately 881 linear feet 8-inch diameter HDPE water main at depths up to
approximately 15 feet.
• Installation and tie-ins/shutdowns will require coordination with the residents and in the project area.
