SPECIFICATIONS
Water filters must be tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 53 to ensure they reduce contaminants, including lead, per the requirements of the standards. See the Performance Data Sheet (Attachment 1) for contaminant reduction specifications.
Acceptable items are the PUR model numbers listed in Section II Bid and Awards. Any substitution must be approved by the City of Kalamazoo prior to shipment.
CONTRACT PERIOD AND EXTENSIONS
The contract shall be in effect for a three (3) year period commencing on or about January 1, 2026, and continuing through December 31, 2028.
The City may opt to extend this contract for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Renewals shall be upon mutual agreement of both parties and shall be subject to the availability of funds, need and the renewal and/or cancellation options as specified herein.
