ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 2026-02

The City of Enterprise, Alabama will accept sealed bids for up to 3 (three) new
½ Ton, 2 Wheel Drive, Super Cab Pickup Trucks, at the Bid Purchasing Agent's office in the Engineering Department at Enterprise City Hall, 501 S. Main St., Enterprise, Alabama until 2:00 p.m. (CST), on Thursday, February 5, 2026, and then at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

Bids must be submitted on the form furnished with the Bid Documents.  The bid number of 2026-02 and the bid opening date must appear on the outside of the bid envelope.  Bids submitted shall meet the minimum specifications listed in the Product Specifications in the Instructions to Bidders.  It shall be the responsibility of the vendors to specifically list the vehicle make, trim package, and all options as part of their bid.  Failure to comply could result in bid rejection.   Vendors shall meet delivery schedules quoted as a part of their bid.  Delivery time should be quoted in days or weeks after receipt of the purchase order.  Due to the City’s need for these vehicles, delivery time could be a factor in bid awarding; therefore, delivery time must be stated as accurately as possible.

The City of Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to make an award in the best interest of the City of Enterprise.  No oral, telephonic, electronic proposals, modifications or alternate bids will be considered.  Standard Bid Bond applies.  All proposals will be valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the published bid date.  Questions regarding this solicitation may be directed to Barry Mott, telephone number (334) 348-2671 and should be presented a minimum of 72 hours prior to bid opening.
