INVITATION TO BID Project: WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SOLIDS HANDLING IMPROVEMENTS: The project generally comprises of selective demolition of solids handling equipment and building; installation of Owner procured Volute dewater press, positive pressurization unit, electrical control panels, polymer blending and feed system, flowmeter, dust collector, and mixed transfer conveyor; furnish and install plug valves and knife valves with electric actuators, piping, appurtenances, piping modifications, motor actuated louver, and chemical spill containment deck and pallet; restoration of areas disturbed by construction. The Work will be performed under Two Contracts as follows: ONE - GENERAL CONSTRUCTION TWO – ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION Owner: MARIETTA-DONEGAL JOINT AUTHORITY 190 Rock Point Road Marietta, PA 17547 Engineer: ARRO Consulting, Inc. 108 West Airport Road Lititz, PA 17543 Bids will be received online via the PennBid Program until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on December 3, 2024. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, November 13, 2024, at the office of the owner. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory. Bids from parties not present will not be accepted. Questions will be accepted until 4:00 P.M., prevailing time, on November 21, 2024. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond for (10) percent of the Bid total. The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry.
