Wastewater Treatment Plant Roof Replacement Project

The Town of Concord, Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the 2024 Wastewater Treatment Plant Roof Replacement Project, Invitation For Bid (IFB) No. 2260 in accordance with the documents prepared by Kleinfelder Northeast, Inc.

The Work under this Contract includes replacement of a new roofing assembly with new sheet metal roofing panels on the Operations Building of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and includes demolition of the existing roofing assembly including existing metal roofing panels, underlayment, sheathing, insulation, vertical soffit panels, and vapor barrier. Work at the Operations Building also includes additional miscellaneous project requirements consisting of maintaining flow through the existing treatment plant, transporting and disposing of excess material, provide security to prevent vandalism on property & equipment, replace and restore disturbed pavement surfaces(such as curbing, utilities, shrubbery, gras, post signs, etc.), testing of site piping(drains and vents), and correcting all deficiencies and failures of equipment (including start-up, testing, & performance testing).
