Solicitation Summary

The City of Crisfield (City) is accepting sealed bids from fully qualified and licensed interested bidders to operate the City’s existing wastewater treatment facility for a period of five (5) years with the option to extend, at the discretion of the City of Crisfield, for an additional five (5) year period. The Wastewater Treatment Facility (Facility) is located at 104 North 7th Street and has a design capacity for an average daily flow of 1.0 million gallons per day (MGD). It utilizes a Modified Luczack-Ettinger (MLE) process for Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) followed by a Denitrification and Phosphorus Removal Continuous Up Flow Sand Filter for Enhance Nutrient Removal (ENR).

Additional Instructions

Bids must be received at City Hall by August 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any requirements and to accept all or part of any bid considered to be in the best interest of the City.Award of the contract is subject to the approval of the City Council of Crisfield.
