INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
The City of Neosho, Missouri will accept sealed bids until Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10:00 am
at the Receptionist Desk of City Hall, Attn: City Clerk, 203 East Main Street, Neosho, MO 64850.
The bid will be for the following:
Project: Wastewater Rotors

10:00 a.m.

All bids shall be F.O.B., Neosho, MO. All bids shall be exclusive of federal, state, and city taxes.
Bids on this (these) unit(s) shall be made on forms furnished with these specifications. Additional
information, specifications, deviations, and manufacturer’s literature should be attached to bid forms.
All bids should include the turnaround time in getting started on this project.
*W-9 Required
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest or best bid. The City
reserves the right to split bids, if in the best interest of the City.

The bid packet is for the purchase of: (Bid each Rotor Separately)
ROTOR #1 - REPAIRS
• Remove from ditch.
• Remove fins from tube, clean and inspect for reuse, replace as needed.
• Remove flanges from tube, clean and machine as needed for reuse.
• Check shafts for trueness.
• New 50HP Electric motor.
• New Baldor Dodge Reducer, Bushing Assembly, Motor Mount Assembly and Standard
Motor Mount Belt Guard.
• Sandblast tube, flanges and deflector plates
• Prime and paint tube, flanges and deflector plates with 2-part paint with hardener
• Replace (Rexnord) pillow block bearings
• Replace seals
• Replace belts.
• Reinstall at facility.
• If shafts, tubes, or fins and flanges need to be replaced include in bid
ROTOR #3 – TOTAL REBUILD
• Remove from ditch.
• Remove fins from tube, clean and inspect for reuse, replace as needed.
• Remove flanges from tube, clean and machine as needed for reuse.
• Replace shafts.
• New 50HP Electric motor.
• New Baldor Dodge Reducer, Bushing Assembly, Motor Mount Assembly and Standard Motor

• Drill and tap for studs to mount fins.
• Replace deflector plates.

• Replace (Rexnord) pillow block bearings

• Reinstall at facility.

• Replace terminal box for motor.
ROTOR #7 – TOTAL REBUILD
• Remove from ditch.
• Remove fins from broken tube, clean and inspect for reuse, replace as needed.
• Remove flanges from broken tube, clean and machine as needed for reuse.
• Replace shafts.
• New 50HP Electric motor.
• New Baldor Dodge Reducer, Bushing Assembly, Motor Mount Assembly and Standard Motor
Mount Belt Guard.
• New tube.
• Drill and tap for studs to mount fins.
• Replace deflector plates.
• Sandblast tube, flanges and deflector plates
• Prime and paint tube, flanges and deflector plates with 2-part paint with hardener
