Summary
In general, this project will consist of The completed Work will provide City of Pueblo (Owner) with a new main medium voltage switchgear at the James R. DiIorio Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), as well as reliability improvements to the two incoming 13.2kV utility services. .
The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the supply, delivery, fabrication, installation, testing, and other materials and services required for the work.
Specific features include, but are not limited to:
- Replacement of existing fused cutouts on the two incoming 13.2kV utility services with solid blade cutouts (on the City-owned portion of the overhead lines).
- Replacement of the plant’s 13.2kV metal-enclosed main-tie-main fusible main switchgear lineup with two padmount vacuum fault interrupter switchgear with main-tie-tie-main configuration.
- Reconnection and testing of existing incoming and outgoing underground 15kV cables to the new switchgear.
- Modification to existing switchgear vault trench covers to accommodate the new switchgear layout.
- Development and implementation of protective relay settings to coordinate with the upstream electric utility protection and downstream loads in the WRF.
- Provision, installation, and operation of temporary equipment necessary to facilitate the work. Equipment includes but is not limited to standby generator(s) and fuel and associated distribution switchgear, cables, splices, unions, and junctions required to achieve the installation specified herein.
Timeline
-Bidders are encouraged to bring the personnel that will actually be assigned to the project. Please limit to four (4) people per company.
-Bidders MUST bring their own cameras, notepads, tape measures, recording devices, etc. and take their own measurements, photos, and notes.
-It is the Bidder’s responsibility to obtain all necessary information at the site visit.
