WASTE MANAGEMENT (TRASH DISPOSAL)

Project Description:

4 cubic yard trash collection bin with lid and wheel/casters

12        Monthly service of 2 times a week. Pick up days Tuesday and Friday.

Special Instructions

1.Waste management services for 33,000 sq ft facility which includes 12,000 sq ft of food
processing areas.

2. Provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary for trash hauling
and
disposal work.

3. The contract period will be for one year. Two(2) times a week Tuesday and Friday

4. ALL bidders must attend a MANDATORY site walk-through on Wednesday 2/04/2026, 9am-
10 am. Please email Roden Tauyan (rtauyan@hawaii.edu) prior to the walk-through if you
plan to attend.

5. Missed collection date must be made up within 48 hours or credit accordingly

6. Provide periodic change out and cleaning of trash collection bin to maintain sanitary
conditions.

VENDOR COMPLIANCE:

Vendor must be Vendor Compliant per the Hawaii Compliance Express website at
https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/

- Vendor must present certificate of compliance at time of award or bid will be void.

- Must comply with the UH Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.

- Award(s) will be made to the lowest qualified bid.

- Quote price must be valid for a minimum of 60 days.

- Price quotation must include all applicable taxes, freight, delivery,
assembly and handling charges.

- Approved equivalent and substitutions accepted, we reserve the right to determine
equivalency.

- Vendor must be able to provide Certificate of Insurance with $1,000,000 minimum
coverage
at time of Purchase Order acceptance.
