2026 Washington State Aviation Economic Impact Study Update
Contract summary

The Washington State Aviation Economic Impact Study Update (WAEIS) is a comprehensive, 24-month initiative led by the WSDOT Aviation Division to quantify and communicate the full economic and societal value of Washington’s public-use airport system. The study will evaluate direct, indirect, and induced economic impacts, including employment, labor income, business output, visitor spending, and tax revenues, while also assessing broader contributions such as freight movement, supply chain support, and regional competitiveness.

One (1) agreement may be awarded. The agreement will be approximately 2 years in duration. The agreement amount will be approximately $833,333.00 with the option for WSDOT to supplement it for additional time and money. The agreement type will be Task Order Negotiated Hourly Rate.
