Warranty and Maintenance for Hasler Folder Inserters with High-Capacity Feeders near Bloomington, IL

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items or Services”, and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This solicitation number is 5000204551 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, effective 01/17/2025.

The National Distribution Center (NDC) of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), hereinafter referred to as the "Government," purchased four new folder inserters and six high-capacity feeders on July 15, 2017. The IRS has a requirement to maintain these folder inserters and feeders beginning February 27, 2025, through February 26, 2026. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price requirement contract for one year. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible manufacturer-authorized offeror with the lowest evaluated price, satisfactory performance record, and can meet all the requirements listed on the statement of work (SOW). This requirement is set-aside for small businesses.

Vendors must submit all questions in writing by 12:00 PM EST on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
