WALNUT GROVE LAND APPLICATION SYSTEM PHASE 2 UPGRADE

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Walnut Grove, Georgia, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of the Land Application System Phase 2 Upgrade in Walnut Grove, Georgia.

Bids should be submitted to Walnut Grove City Clerk no later than 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Bids to be delivered to Walnut Grove City Hall, 2581 Leone Avenue, Loganville, GA 30052. Any bids received after said time and date will not be considered by the City of Walnut Grove. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. All bids will be evaluated by the City of Walnut Grove and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 45 days of the bid opening.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at City Hall 2581 Leone Avenue, Walnut Grove, GA 30052 and will include a site visit to the Walnut Grove Land Application System, 884 Forrester Cemetery Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend to discuss and clarify any questions regarding the Bid Documents.

The Project consists of, but is not limited to, the following major elements: A new 0.10 MGD package treatment plant, an 11-acre irrigation system on a coastal bermuda grass sprayfield, upgrades to existing influent and irrigation pump stations and re-purposing of an existing oxidation pond for treated water storage.

Time of completion for all work associated with the project shall be FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY (450) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER.
