Project Description:
Walker Upper Elementary will temporarily serve as a dedicated Pre-K Learning Center while construction progresses on the new, permanent Early Childhood Learning Center. To support this transition, the project focuses on transforming the existing exterior areas around the school into a dynamic, engaging play and learning environment tailored to the developmental needs of young children.

High-quality outdoor space is essential for early childhood development, offering opportunities for exploration, creativity, physical activity, and social connection. This project aims to create a safe, stimulating, and adaptable outdoor environment that enriches daily learning, supports age-appropriate play, and fosters curiosity and growth throughout the duration of the temporary Pre-K program.

This project will provide young learners with a safe, engaging outdoor environment that supports early development. The primary challenge is the compressed construction timeline, which requires efficient coordination and reliable execution without compromising quality or safety. The contractor should be highly organized, experienced with similar site work, and capable of delivering clear communication, rapid problem-solving, and consistent adherence to project specifications.
