SECTION 1.1 - INVITATION TO BID
INVITATION TO BID
Sealed Bids for the construction of the 5100 W Roadway Widening, West Haven will be received by West
Haven City at the District office, 4150 S 3900 W, West Haven City, UT 84401, until 2:00 PM local time on
Wednesday, 4/8/2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project consists of: 5100 W, roadway widening. Project extents are 3300 S to 4050 S, consisting of
removal of existing asphalt, excavation to subgrade site clearing, and installation of sidewalk, curb/gutter,
asphalt, utility relocation, and drainage infrastructure. The project shall be governed by the contract
documents.
The successful bidder will be responsible for meeting all bonding, traffic control, encroachment permit,
other requirements imposed by UDOT and/or Weber County and/or West Haven City at no additional cost
to OWNER.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The contracts will be
awarded, if they are to be awarded based on this solicitation, to the responsive, responsible bidder (please
refer specifically to Article 3 in Section 1.2) submitting the lowest bid. The City reserves the right to reject
any or all bids.
