2025-008W NEPONSET ST WTP IMPROVEMENTS

INVITATION TO BID

The Town of Canton (Town), Department of Public Works (DPW), invites sealed bids for general improvements for filtration and SCADA systems at the Neponset Street Water Treatment Plant located at 480 Neponset Street in Canton, MA. Sealed bids from General Contractors for “Neponset WTP Improvements, Canton, MA, Project 25-008W”, shall be received in the Department of Public Works Administration & Engineering Office at 801 Washington Street, Canton, MA 02021 until 11:00 a.m. Local Time on March 26, 2026, at which place and time said Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Salah Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Town of Canton, Town Hall. Sealed bids from Subcontractors for “Neponset WTP Improvements, Canton, MA, Project 25-008W”, shall be received in the Department of Public Works Administration & Engineering Office at 801 Washington Street, Canton, MA 02021 until 11:00 a.m. Local Time on March 12, 2026, at which place and time said Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Salah Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Town of Canton, Town Hall.

The Project shall consist of general improvements to the Neponset St Water Treatment Plant, its filtration, and SCADA systems. Sub bid categorizes include electrical and painting.

Bidders must sign up and obtain bid documents from H2Olson Engineering, Inc. in order to receive any issued addenda, which must be acknowledged on the bid form to be submitted. Contract Documents may also be viewed at the office of the Engineer, 10 Riverside Drive, Lakeville, MA 02347 during business hours on Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding Holidays.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. local time on site at 480 Neponset Street, Canton, MA. Access to the facility is at the rear of the Neponset Valley Tech Park. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
