Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Canton, 110 Academy St., Canton, GA 30114, until: 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, May 7 ^th , 2026

For the Project known as: W Main St. Pedestrian Corridor

At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered and returned unopened.

The Project generally consists of the following major items:

1. Conversion of the existing two-way roadway to one-way with on-street angled parking
2. Roadway widening and overlay
3. Installation of 10’ wide, 6” thick concrete sidewalk with brick pavers
4. Installation of 24” curb and gutter
5. Driveway reconstruction and traffic control throughout construction
6. Storm drain installation
7. Signing and pavement marking
8. Landscaping and streetscaping
9. Site grading and stabilization of disturbed areas with temporary and permanent erosion control measures
10. Water and sewer main and service installation
11. Coordination of overhead to underground utility conversion and lighting installation
