VTABSV II IBOSS SD-WAN ZERO TRUST

VTA BART Silicon Valley Phase II (“VTABSV II”) project is seeking solution to strengthen security measures to mitigate potential cybersecurity threats. A more robust security infrastructure, including stronger encryption, more advanced endpoint protection, and additional monitoring capabilities, is necessary to safeguard the integrity of the project and protect sensitive information from potential compromise.

At present, the project utilizes a VPN solution along with basic routing security mechanisms. While this configuration offers some level of security and encryption for internet communications, it is insufficient to ensure comprehensive protection against advanced cyber threats. Additionally, the internet browsing, and overall protection are managed through Microsoft Windows Defender. While Windows Defender provides basic defense capabilities, it is limited in its ability to detect and mitigate more sophisticated security risks. Given the nature of the project data and its interactions over the internet, there is a clear need for enhanced security measures.
