ODHS will review governmental applications according to the criteria described in this RFA. Governmental Applicants must comply with all applicable requirements described in this RFA. ODHS may enter multiple intergovernmental agreements as a result of this Request for Applications.
Opportunity Summary
The State of Oregon, acting by and through the Oregon Department of Human Services ("ODHS"), Vocational Rehabilitation ("VR"), is soliciting applications from providers ("Applicants") who are qualified to provide individual placement and support services to VR participants. This Request for Applications ("RFA") is open to businesses, non-profit organizations, self-employed individuals, and governmental entities, who meet the experience and education or training requirements to provide Individual Placement and Support ("IPS") services to persons with serious mental illness.
The mission of VR is to assist Oregonians with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and independence. This mission is achieved by assisting individuals with disabilities obtain and maintain a job that matches their skills, interests, and abilities. Vocational Rehabilitation staff work in partnership with the community and businesses to provide services that are individualized to help each eligible person receive services that are essential to their own employment success.
ODHS may enter multiple contracts for an initial term of two-years as a result of this Request for Applications.
Contractors who are providing IPS Job Placement Services and want to continue to provide IPS Job Placement Services must follow the requirements of this RFA and apply for a Contract. If a Contract is awarded to a Contractor and the Contractor has an active Contract with VR that was awarded under RFA DHS-4476-17, and the Contract has not expired, the active Contract will be terminated upon execution of the Contract awarded as a result of this RFA DHS-5002-21.
