Virginia-class Blown Optical Fiber Cable Troubleshoot and Repair

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a request for quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price contract to accomplish a troubleshoot and repair of a Blown Optical Fiber (BOF) Cable onboard a Virginia-class submarine in accordance with work specification HIRMC-501-26.

The tentative Period of Performance for this requirement will commence on 15 November 2025 with a delivery date of 15 May 2026. The performance location will take place at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF.

This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with forthcoming solicitation N32253-26-Q-0012. PHNSY & IMF intends to post a solicitation on or about 24 October 2025.

This pre-solicitation is issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 5.201. This is not a request for proposals. Therefore, responses to this notice are not being requested and may not be considered, if received.

There is no set-aside for this requirement. This requirement is considered full and open. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the size standard for this NAICS code is 1,300.
