Project Description: Sealed bids for the replacement of existing sanitary sewer and storm sewer with the installation of a new section of storm sewer will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Spring Garden Township, York County, Pennsylvania, until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Bid results will be available end of business day, same date.
Copies of Bidding Documents for the Virginia Avenue Storm Sewer Improvements project
are available online and at no cost via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
NOTE: The Commissioners of Spring Garden Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Spring Garden Township.
A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Spring Garden Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid.
A pre-bid conference will not be held.
Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
The Contract Time for this project is ninety (90) calendar days.
This Project is being financed in part by a grant from the federal Department of Treasury, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority.
Spring Garden Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
