Vilonia High School Building Re-roof

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Bids will be received by electronic submission to Mr. Ronnie Simmons by emailing ronnie.simmons@viloniaschools.org until 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, for the Vilonia High School Building Re-roof. Bids will be based on a single lump sum contract with 2 Alternates.
There will not be a Pre-Bid conference, all bidders shall make inspections and studies of the site of the work to familiarize themselves with all conditions to be encountered prior to bidding. Work must be completed prior to students arriving back on campus on August 12th, 2026.
All bidders shall conform to the requirements of Arkansas Code Annotated 17-25-101, Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors. All contractors must be licensed on the day of the bid submittal. According to the Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board, this project will require a contractor’s license. There shall be only one bid submitted per State Contractors license. Bidders will be required to indicate license number on bid form beneath signature when bidding $20,000.00 or more. Bid security is required in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier’s check drawn upon a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, in an amount equal to 5% of the contract sum, and payable to the Vilonia School District.
Arkansas Statutory Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract.

Contractors may obtain contract documents from WER Architects 901 W Third st, Little Rock, AR 72201, (501) 374-5300, after depositing a check in the amount of $100.00 per set payable to WER Architects. Deposits will be refunded to contractors who return full sets of unmarked contract documents in good condition to WER Architects. within 10 days of the bid opening. Only complete sets of contract documents will be distributed by WER Architects. No partial sets will be distributed.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the opening of bids.
This invitation does not commit the Owner to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers and waive any formalities.
