The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids for the rehabilitation of the Village Hall Storm Lift Station.  Work includes but is not limited to removal of existing and installation of replacement materials including but not limited to submersible pumps; guide rail systems; base elbows; electrical conduit, wiring, and receptacles; valve vault and wet well piping and valves; structure covers with hatches; concrete control enclosure pad and site flat work; site access stairs; bypass pumping during construction; and other appurtenant work necessary to complete the project within Village limits all in accordance with the enclosed Specifications and Contract Document PW-2526-25 Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions and Plans of this document.

This project is located within the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois.

The Village Hall Storm Lift Station is located at 901 Wellington Ave., on the southeast corner of Biesterfield Rd. and Wellington Ave.

All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. Bid plans and prequalification forms are available on the Village’s website www.elkgrove.org/bids . Once the prequalification form is reviewed and approved by the Village an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved bidder(s). This bid has a MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING that will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 9:00 AM local time. The Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007. Project site visit will immediately follow the meeting.

Bids will be received until 10:45 AM on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 and opened at 11:00 AM, local time.The bid opening will be held at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read.  All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above.  Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.
