SCOPE OF WORK
Contractor(s) shall provide Veterinary Pharmaceutical Items and Supplies for Lake County Animal Services.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pricing shall be in unit of measure reflected in Attachment 3 - Pricing Sheet.
Pricing shall be for new goods only.
Contractor represents and warrants that the goods offered to the County under this contract are new, not used or reconditioned.
All pricing shall be inclusive of all shipping and handling costs as no fuel surcharges or other fees shall be accepted.
All freight shall be prepaid.
COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES
The County reserves the right to make multiple awards in the best interest of the County.
DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS AND ACCEPTANCE
Contractor shall have a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days of supplies available to order before commencement date of contract.
Confirmation of all orders and back-ordered items shall be provided by email to the ordering party within one (1) business day from order placement.
Orders shall be available for delivery, no later than two (2) business days from receipt of order.
There shall be no minimum order required, either in quantity or cost, pertaining to this agreement.
Contractor will not charge any shipping/freight cost for any minimum orders.
Orders placed for out-of-stock items shall be communicated for approval prior to delivery.
Communicate if there is a substitute available for approval.
Non-stock product(s) shall be available for delivery, no later than five (5) business days from receipt of order.
Contractor shall provide a Return to Vendor (RTV) label for any items received in error or alternative shipped is of inferior quality vendor at no cost to the County.
Contractor shall provide notice within twenty-four (24) hours of any products on backorder.
Backorder notification will include:
The product(s) placed on backorder.
The expected timeline of the backorder.
The reason for the backorder.
Deliveries shall be during the hours of 8:00am - 3:00pm (EST) Monday thru Friday.
Contractor shall be responsible for notifying delivery services of delivery hours.
WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS
All products ordered shall have an expiration date of no less than twelve (12) months from the date of delivery.
