The Medical Directorate at DLA Troop Support is the inventory control point responsible for purchasing pharmaceuticals, medical, surgical, dental, optical, and laboratory supplies and related equipment for U.S. soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines-around the world and around the clock.
Solicitation SPE2DE-25-R-0001 is a solicitation from which the Government intends to award multiple contracts to manufacturers and distributors of medical/surgical supplies, food, equipment, pharmaceuticals (including narcotics) and environmental enrichment items for veterinary use.
All items submitted must be compliant with the Trade Agreements Act and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved.
The solicitation is being issued as part of a Multiple Award Schedule program using the guidance of FAR subpart 8.4. The Multiple Award Program Contracts/Delivery orders are designed to provide logistic support that empowers customers to select products that best meet their mission needs. The objective of this solicitation is to establish long term Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for medical and surgical supplies and devices ordered through the DLA Electronic Catalog (ECAT) for delivery to Department of Defense (DoD) hospitals, clinics, and any other federal customer participating in the program.
The solicitation is for a five year period. The estimated 5 year value of the resultant contracts is $24,875,000.00. No single contract awarded will have a stated total maximum greater than $49,750.0000.00. The term of the contracts awarded will be a five year period.
Offerors are requested to submit complete proposals for all requirements, including all certifications, as specified in the solicitation. Proposals may be submitted any time during the open periods of the solicitation. When the solicitation becomes available, a copy of the solicitation can be obtained through the DLA Internet Bulletin Board (DIBBS), https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. Search the RFP/IFB Database or the Solicitation Package Search areas. The estimated date of the solicitation is November 18, 2024.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered by the Agency.
