Veterinarian Services - Richmond Campus

The California Department of Public Health, Center for Laboratory Sciences, is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to provide veterinarian services to the Richmond CDPH Vivarium and Laboratory Animal Program as necessary per state and federal regulation at the request of the Supervisor of the Public Health Microbiologist (PHM), Training and Animal Science within CLS-Operations Branch. Under the direction of the branch chief, the Veterinarian is responsible for maintaining compliance and accreditation of the CDPH CLS Animal Facility and other CLS animal-related services by planning, organizing, and conducting inspections, investigation, protocol review, and occupational health and safety review.
The Center for Laboratory Sciences intends to make a single contract award to the most responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest cost.
