Veterans Park at Balls Bluff

The Town of Leesburg is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform the initial development of Veterans Park at Balls Bluff including erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, storm drainage and stormwater management facilities, aggregate base, asphalt base and surface, guardrail, sidewalks and trails, pavement marking and signing, boat ramp, landscaping, and all incidentals related thereto.

Non-Mandatory On-Site Pre-Bid Meeting:

A non-mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm (local time). It is strongly recommended that all bidders attend this meeting to gain a thorough understanding of the project.

The park address for the pre-bid meeting is 42314 Ball’s Bluff Road NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be at the Silos within the Park. A Town representative will be at the Veterans Park entrance at the end of Balls Bluff Road to provide directions. Bidders are advised that the entrance road into the park is an unimproved, unpaved road.

Bid Opening:

Bids will be publicly opened via Microsoft Teams using the eVA e-Procurement website on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm (local time). The bid opening will be livestreamed via Microsoft Teams and made available to the public.
