Sealed bids will be received by Marple Township via the PennBID Program
(https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 10:00 o'clock AM, prevailing time, on the 29th day of
May 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly read for:

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an
amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies
licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond
shall so state same.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days
after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The project involves the construction of approximately 2,500 linear feet of an 8-foot-wide
bituminous trail, streambank stabilization along an unnamed tributary of Darby Creek, culvert
extension, and stormwater management basin retrofit.
This project is being funded in part by grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Economic
Development (DCED) Local Share Account and the Delaware County Greenways Program, and
is subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor.
Marple Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive
any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of Marple Township.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, at 10:00 AM, at Veterans Memorial Park,
Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008.
