BID DUE DATE: MARCH 18, 2026, ADDENDUM NO. 1
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force
and effect as the original Quote and contract documents, and Quotes to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with
the additions, deletions and revisions as listed herein.
ITEM #1: QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: The bid specifications mention to include 9" concrete within the cost of the guardrail. There appears to
only be 1 single 2'x2' area on the plans being called out that requires the 9" concrete under the special
steel post, but there are 5 special steel posts on the bid form. Are there 4 other locations requiring 9" thick
concrete pad that are not shown?
A1: There are 3 locations, one (1) on Norman and two (2) on Torrington, that will require the 2' x 2' x 9" thick concrete
pad under the special steel guardrail posts.
CLARIFICATIONS: Per the Roadway Pay Item Notes the 2' x 2' x 9" thick concrete pads will be paid for under the
guardrail pay item 536-1-1. While the special steel posts themselves, will be paid for under the 536-7-2 pay
item. The remaining two special steel posts on Loveland will not require the concrete pad as they will be
mounted directly on the concrete drainage structure per FDOT standard index 536-001 sheet 24 of 25.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260286.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
