The City of Pasadena Public Works Department, Building Systems & Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of vehicle warning and work lighting equipment and related components. The City's municipal fleet utilizes a variety of lighting systems to improve vehicle visibility and enhance operational safety during roadway maintenance, refuse collection, utility service, inspections, and other field operations.
Lighting products covered under this solicitation primarily consist of amber warning lighting used for municipal fleet visibility, as well as work and utility lighting such as flood lights and scene lighting.
The City intends to establish a five (5) year contract for the purchase of vehicle warning, safety, and work lighting equipment on an as-needed basis throughout the contract term.
The City of Pasadena operates and maintains a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment in support of municipal operations. Many of these vehicles require specialized lighting systems to provide adequate visibility and warning capability while operating on roadways, job sites, and other active work environments.
