Vehicle Count Stations - Grant Funded

As requested by the Transportation Management Services Division (hereinafter, the “Division or Department”), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, “County”) has issued this Invitation to Bid (hereinafter, “ITB”) with the intent of obtaining bid submittals from interested and qualified Bidders in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The Bidders, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated herein. All references to “Bidder” are also referred to as “Contractor” and “Vendor.”

Collier County Transportation Management Services aims to purchase Vehicle Count Station Bundle with Cell Service and Hosting costs at 22 locations throughout the county. The Vehicle Count Station will be used to gather counts, vehicle classification, and speed.

The data collected from these Vehicle Count Stations will support ongoing traffic engineering analyses, safety evaluations, congestion management efforts, ATMS operations, and required reporting to state agencies, including FDOT, ensuring accurate, real-time information for planning and operational decision-making.
