Vegetation Control Services on City Medians

The City of Norfolk (“City”) is seeking responsible vendors to provide vegetation control services on City medians.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to perform vegetation control services for approximately ten and one-half (10.5) miles of concrete medians divided among twenty-eight (28) highways and streets to include, but not be limited to, herbicide spraying of all weeds and grass on concrete and brick medians in public street rights-of-way.

The concrete and brick medians vary in length and shape. It is incumbent on the bidders to inspect the work areas prior to submission of their bids. The City will approve no additional charges for performing the specified work.
