NOTICE OF RECEIVING BIDS
FOR SUPPLYING VARIOUS CHEMICALS
FOR THE PORTAGE COUNTY WATER RESOURCES
SEALED BIDS will be received at the Office of the Portage County Director of Internal
Services, 1st floor, Portage County Administration Bldg., 449 South Meridian St.
(Chestnut St. entrance), Ravenna Ohio via hand delivery, the United States Postal
Service or by UPS or FedEx courier until 3:00 p.m., E.S.T. on October 23rd, 2024, for
Supplying Various Chemical services for the Portage County Water Resources Dept.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond with satisfactory surety or by a certified
check, cashier's check, or money order drawn on a solvent bank and payable to the
Portage County Board of Commissioners in the amount of five percent of the total bid.
Specifications and Official Bid Forms may be obtained from Shannon Kautzman, Director
of Internal Services, County Admin. Bldg., 449 South Meridian St. (Chestnut St. entrance),
Ravenna, Ohio. This advertisement/ notice for bids can also be found on Portage County's
website at: https://www.portagecounty-oh.gov/ under County bid notices.
Successful Bidder must comply with Equal Employment Requirements as specified in
Executive Orders 11246 and 11375.
The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof.
