RFP 2026-19 – Asbestos Abatement at Vandenberg

The Board of Education (BOE) of Southfield Public Schools’ (SPS) will receive sealed bids for the above-

referenced project. Bids are due by Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. and will be publically

opened virtually at 11:05 A.M. virtually at https://oneoakland.webex.com/meet/jesse.sutton. The BOE

will not consider or accept a Bid received after the due date and time. Bid must be submitted

electronically via BidNet Direct (MITN): https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn/southfield-public-schools.

No physical packets will be accepted. Bid documents will be available beginning May 26, 2026, at 5:00

P.M. on BidNet Direct (MITN). Bids must include the following required documentation:

• Familial Disclosure Statement (MCL 380.1267)

• Iran-Linked Business Certification (Public Act 517 of 2012)

• Bid Bond equal to 5% of the base bid

For projects exceeding $50,000, the successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Performance

and Payment Bonds in accordance with Michigan law. Southfield Public Schools reserves the right to

reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive informalities in bidding. Surety company must be

in licensed in Michigan.
