VALLEY VILLAGE PARK STORMWATER CAPTURE

♦ The project proposes to capture stormwater runoff from a 453-acre tributary area with an estimated average yield up to 136 AFY by flows within the storm drain BI 0463 to the park. Best Management Practices (BMPs) strategically located throughout the park are proposed to capture and store stormwater runoffs.
♦ A 0.7-acre underground infiltration gallery to capture and infiltrate stormwater at Valley Village Park will include:
♦♦ A storm drain diversion structure
♦♦ Storm drain pipes
♦♦ A hydrodynamic separator unit, a flow measuring device, and educational signage.
