The Project consists of the following (in general): Common Excavation (2,300 cu.yd), Grading, Aggregate Base (6,900 sq.yd.), Asphalt Pavement (6,300 sq.yd.), Surveying and Cemetery Lot Monumentation, Irrigation System (4375 ft mainline & 2-wire, 45 heads), seeding and mulching (8 ac), and other miscellaneous ancillary items of work. Refer to Bid Form and plans for official quantities.

at no charge. Printed copies are not available from the City or Issuing Office and must be arranged independently by the prospective bidder. Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. must register or log-in to view and/or download Bidding Documents. Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; neither OWNER nor ENGINEER assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. For any questions regarding ordering or viewing of the Bidding Documents please contact the OWNER.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
This Project is locally funded. Buy America and Davis Bacon do not apply to this project.
A pre-bid conference will be held February 5
th
, 1:30 pm local time, initially at City Hall, 301 N. 8th Street, proceeded by an on-site visit to Valley View Cemetery at 2900 North Main St. if necessary. Attendance by bidders (prime contractor) and Irrigation contractor/subcontractor is mandatory.
