Moving Services - Muskogee VAMC
Description of Services
This brief description defines the requirements for the contractor to provide Moving Services. A moving contract is required to facilitate moves throughout the facility and its entities.
2. Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, certifications, and any other related service for all moving requirements.
Requirements:
2.1. Moving staff and equipment will be provided on an as-needed basis, no less than 1 day per month. The moving contractor can anticipate approximately 4-8 hours of service work per month during the VA business hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
2.2 Contractor shall move all items (desks, file cabinets, chairs, etc.) as outlined by the Contractor Officer Representative (COR).
2.4 Contractor will determine the number of personnel and the type of equipment needed to handle all moving requirements, while ensuring proper safety. The number of employees utilized will be submitted, in writing, to the COR with the plan of action. The COR will provide the contractor approval for the Plan of Action, and the approval for the number of employees to be utilized by the contractor prior to the start of all moves.
2.5 The Muskogee VAMC estimates (400) hours per year of scheduled work. Pay rate will be hourly and the schedule of these man hours will be determined by the Muskogee VAMC using the notification guidelines set forth above.
