Description
Critical Patient Care Roster A and B Only
Project Description: Scope of work includes the modernization of a (3) bank elevator hoistway including elevator cars 212, 213, 214, and the elevator machine room. This elevator bank is back of house patient transport and service elevators serving the cascade tower. These elevators are traction elevators, and are original to the 1983 building, and are nearing end-of-life. Replacement of major elevator components, and alterations to the pressurization system, mechanical, and electrical systems are included in the scope of work. The scope of work also includes the interim maintenance and ongoing maintenance that coincides with the warranty. The interim maintenance period will begin after the award of the modernization (or after the first elevator is removed from normal operation for modernization), until the modernization work is completed, and the last elevator is returned to normal operation.
