UWG Pest Control Services

Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with qualified suppliers who will provide Pest Control Services to the University of West Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
University of West Georgia (UWG) seeks a qualified Pest Control Supplier to perform pest control treatment to all areas of the UWG Carrollton and Newnan campus locations. Suppliers are to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials for all services unless otherwise noted, in accordance with this scope of work and supporting documents. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services are needed at Dining Facilities, Student Residential Housing, and Educational and General use (E&G) buildings on the UWG Carrollton and Newnan Campus¿. The IPM plan shall meet the requirements stated in this scope of work, and consist of Identifying the types of pests involved, Identifying and correcting conditions contributing to pest infestations, determining areas requiring treatment both with nonchemical methods and pesticides, Selecting and implementing the appropriate treatment procedures and Inspecting and monitoring to evaluate results and to detect new pest invasions. The intent is for the contract to start once awarded for one (1) year with four (4) optional one (1) year renewals or as soon as a contract can be awarded.
