Description

This is not a request for proposals. This acquisition is to obtain services with a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for providing preservation materials and Field Service Technical Representative support services (e.g., field service technical representative,) and technical evaluation and troubleshooting services in support of hull preservation of USS THE SULLIVANS (DDG 68), anticipated up to 45 days prior to 29 September 2025. The type of work being performed involves providing required paint, coating, preservation products, and engineering and technical services. The vessel will be dry-docked. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 7299A, the "Homeport Statute", this procurement will solicit offers from all offerors capable of performing the work in the Mayport homeport area. A SOLICITATION will be available on or about August 2025. Market research was conducted from June 27, 2025, through July 1, 2025; this solicitation will be set aside for small businesses. The Navy intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the performance of this requirement.



This pre-solicitation synopsis is for planning purposes only. It shall not be construed as a request for bids, quotations, proposals, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. This request does not oblige the Government to award any contract nor the authority to enter negotiations to award a contract.
