The Government intends to make a sole-source award to Danfoss Airflex for parts required to conduct the overhaul and certification of the following critical engine components installed on USNS KAISER:
- Main diesel power (MDP) couplings and clutches
- Port and starboard propulsion shaft brakes
- PTO clutches and couplings
The above-listed items are ship critical equipment items that are installed in the Military Sealift Command’s T-AO Class of ships. Danfoss Airflex is the sole-source OEM parts and service provider for these parts.
