This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6
Description
The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest has a requirement for the design, modification, delivery, and placement of one (1) 40' x 8' x 9'6" modified high cube shipping container.
Destination: Skykomish Ranger Station, 74920 NE Stevens Pass Hwy, Skykomish, WA 98288
Delivery: Mandatory 90-day delivery from date of award (July). Earlier Delivery preferred.
Key Technical Requirements:
- Condition: New (one-trip).
- Modifications: Interior spray foam (R-10.5+), 100Amp electrical panel, 6 GFCI receptacles, LED interior lighting, exterior motion-detected floodlight, and 18,500 BTU HVAC unit with heat.
- Site Constraints: Delivery must be via tilt-deck or roll-off truck. Cranes and standard flatbeds are prohibited [RFQ provided].
Evaluation Criteria (FAR 12.602):
Award will be made on a "Most Advantageous to the Government" basis (Comparative Evaluation) considering:
- Technical/Capability: Meeting salient characteristics, conceptual drawings, and delivery confirmation.
- Past Performance: Recent (last 3 years) relevance and quality.
- Price: Evaluated for fairness and reasonableness.
