Used Oil Tank Bid Cover Letter
The City of McMinnville will receive sealed bids for purchase of one (1) 2000 gallon used oil
storage tank per the specifications enclosed. Bids will be received no later than 2:00 p.m.
local time, July 16, 2026, in the office of the city recorder, McMinnville City Hall, 101 East
Main Street, McMinnville, Tennessee 37110, and then at said office publicly opened and
read aloud. Bids will be awarded based on the lowest and/or best bid. The City reserves the
right to reject any and all bids.
Bidders are requested to read the complete specifications invitation carefully and submit
their proposals in strict accordance with the requirements set forth therein.
Any defect which may occur as the result of either faulty material or workmanship within
the period of one (1) year, or defects encountered during delivery, shall be corrected
without expense to the City of McMinnville.
By virtue of bidding, the bidders guarantee the prices quoted in the bid will remain firm for
the duration of 3 months from said time of bid opening.

CITY GARAGE FACILITY
1. PURPOSE
The City of McMinnville is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the furnishing
and delivery of one (1) used oil storage tank for use at the City Garage Facility. The City
intends to purchase a complete, ready-to-use storage tank system meeting the minimum
specifications outlined herein.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver one (1) 2,000-Gallon Used Oil Storage Tank
to the City Garage, McMinnville, Tennessee.
3. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS
* 2,000 Gallon Capacity
* Double-wall construction
* UL 142 Listed
* Approximate dimensions: 12' L x 5'10" W x 4'8" H
* Six (6) 2-inch female NPT openings
* One (1) 6-inch female NPT opening
* Forklift pockets
* Spill containment box
* Product level gauge
* Leak detection gauge
* Two (2) 6-inch emergency vents
* Industrial coated finish
4. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
Vendor shall include freight, delivery schedule, lead time, off-loading requirements, and
warranty information. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, McMinnville, Tennessee.
5. WARRANTY
Provide manufacturer warranty information, duration, and service contact information.
6. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Completed Bid Form, product specifications, warranty information, delivery schedule,
references, and proof of insurance.

All equipment shall meet OSHA requirements, Federal Noise Standards,
and State and Federal laws, and be ADA compliant. All bidders must meet
State and Federal Labor Laws.
