Yellow Gear Train the Trainer Training for Crew
1. Background, Problem Statement:
1.1 Background:
CGC Fir is bringing its Yellow Gear Program up to standard. To do so it will need a third-party trainer to train senior members so that the unit will be able to qualify its own members in equipment to complete CGC Fir’s mission of ATON.
1.2 Problem Statement:
1. Complete training for senior members so that CGC Fir will fall in line with policy.
2 Tasking:
2.1.1 Complete Training of Forklift
2.1.2 Establish safety protocols, daily inspections, and maintenance schedule for the Cutter Forklift.
2.1.3 Train on proper weight handling and loading of sinkers, chain, and buoys.
2.1.4 Complete Training on Man Lift.
2.1.4.1 Establish safety protocols, daily inspections, and maintenance schedule for the Cutter Manlift.
2.1.4.2 Establish safety gear associated with being multiple feet in the air including harnesses, fall arrest, and other PPE. Set the standard safe practice of how to use associated gear.
2.1.5 Complete Training in Bobcat
2.1.6 Establish safety protocols, daily inspections, and maintenance schedule for the Cutter Bobcat.
2.1.7 Train on proper weight handling and changing of attachments.
2.1.8 Provide written final report of the Tech Rep Visit
2.1.9 Provide final report on the Tech Rep visit. Include noteworthy findings and discussion on events, documentation of results, and any lesson learned for similar training to other

4 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The period of performance for this contract will be up to 5 days on site 8-hour days period during an agreed upon time.
5 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE & POC’S
The primary place of performance will be CGC Fir 300 North Fill Pier Cordova, AK 99574.
5.1 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED RESOURCES
Technicians will bring supporting documentation and associated training materials.
5.2 Security Requirement
Provide the name of technician to crew prior to arrival and good contact information.
5.3 Point of Contact:
Any cutter site visits will be coordinated through the cutter POC.
